Magnum I Wheel Penetration Tailski

This exceptionally strong, lightweight fiberglass ski has a 585 pound load rating (tested to 6,085 pounds concentrated load). It features chromoly steel pedestals and a unique adjustable rigger for individual installation requirements.

AOSS

The patented AOS System utilizes a solid, deformable polymer as a suspension and shock absorbing medium. This new design shock absorber and suspension system in one puts an end to the "slingshot" effect in the rebound from hard landings, caused by the old design rubber shock rings / bungee cords. The use of titanium in the heavy duty design adds strength in all aspects of installation, operation and adverse loading conditions.

The AOSS ground-adjustable feature has recently been fitted with the optional –4SL-K  sleeve kit to accommodate extreme off-airport operations. The sleeve kit can be retro-fitted to any earlier model AOSS using the turnbuckle bolt design. This adjustability also allows for compensation for landing gear fittings that may not be installed as accurately as one would desire.

Over the past three years there have been many more models of aircraft added to the Approved Models List (see opposite page) as well as additional models of the AOSS itself.

On April 26, 2007 we received FAA STC SA02288AK for installation of the AOS System on all models of the Aviat Husky UP TO 2,000 lb gross weight. This STC’d landing gear system utilizing Piper PA-18 type landing gear will be offered as optional equipment on new Aviat Aircraft Inc. A1B Husky airplanes from the factory.

A special AOSS is available for the Cub Crafters Light Sport Cub
as a Cub Crafters factory-only option.
